Barographs

A barograph is an air pressure meter that keeps track of the measured data. The barograph is an invention of Moreland in the year 1670, the measuring mechanism was refined only later so that the barograph could be used as a measuring instrument.

The barograph consists of a few superimposed boxes placed above each other, a lever and a writing roll. When the roller has been completely round one can read the air pressure ratios.
